In an effort to document, I'm going to keep a running log of our celebrations of holidays and events and simply update each year. The date will start when we became parents; February 20, 2009.
2009:
Hudson: Monkey
We walked Hudson down Hanover Ave. in Richmond. I insisted that Ted and I dress up, insisting we would stick out if we didn't. On the day of, Ted bought a hat to be The Man in the Yellow Hat, I was H.A. Rey and Hudson was Curious George. Of course it didn't matter at all that we dressed up! No one noticed one way or another. If you're ever in Richmond on Halloween, you must see Hanover Avenue, it is a sight to behold!
2010:
Hudson: Kung Fu Panda (None of us had watched the movie but I found the costume at a thrift store and we went with it!)
2011:
Hudson: Rocket. It was rainy, Hudson wasn't so into it, so we carried him around the neighborhood and visited a couple of houses.
2012:
Hudson: Rocket. We trick or treated in T's brother's neighborhood. Hudson and his cousin had fun together.

Hudson: Spiderman
Sadie: Adorable
We trick or treated in our neighborhood with our niece, nephew and my brother and sister in law. Hudson had a great time, and Sadie mostly stayed in the sling.
2014:
Hudson: Spiderman
Sadie: Adorable (I bought her a Redskins cheerleading costume, pictured here, and then had buyer's remorse and returned it!)
My Aunt and Uncle from Spain were in town, and my parents also visited. We all had dinner at home, and then the 4 adults, Hudson and I went trick or treating. Sadie was too tired so she and Ted stayed home. Hudson had a little more stamina than previous years, although he was still done in less than an hour!

Sadie: Adorable (She was going to wear Hudson's rocket costume, but never wanted to actually wear it!)
