Ted and I were in desperate need of a date night. I was sick for 2 weeks, Ted was working insane hours for about a month, it felt like we were barely seeing each other at home even. My aunt Pam came over at 6, this way I had time to give the kids baths and get them started on dinner before she arrived.
Ted and I were out the door and picked our dinner spot while heading downtown. We had a great meal at Social 52, then headed over to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) it's open late on Fridays and admission is free! We had a great tune perusing the exhibits and there's still so much to explore. Check out how hopping the cafe was!! A perfect date night and we were home before 9! So thankful for our date nights :)
