This is the first installment of the Family Traditions series. I thought it would be fun to write about some of our habits and traditions.
I don't know if this is a tradition, so much as a regular habit. By Friday night I'm am so over making dinner, working on manners, finding something else that everyone will eat, etc. Out of laziness and H's love of picnics and movies, the Friday night picnic was born. I make something easy; quesadillas, pizza, grilled cheese, etc., and we cozy up for a movie or TV show on Netflix. It's simply lovely, and a nice way to unwind from the week!
