We had a rare date night last night! I've been wanting to try a drink and paint nights for awhile and figured my birthday was the only time Ted would be a willing participate! We looked over the calendar for the 3 different places in Richmond that host basically the same event: they have an instructor or two walking the group through a painting. All of the art supplies are included and you can order food and drink to enjoy while painting. It worked out for us to paint a sailboat, which was probably the least girly of all of the options!

The instruction felt so fast-pasted that we hardly had time to talk! Maybe we were taking it too seriously!
Here's the finished product! They aren't amazing, but it was fun to do something different, and see Ted take on being artsy! Now we need to decide where to hang them--it won't be a room that gets too much visibility!
