Pregnancy Journal: Weeks 28-31

I balked when I saw it has been a month since I last did a journal entry, ekk! Apparently time is flying!

Week 28: June 27- July 3

Week 28

This week I was feeling great! Ted took Hudson on some errands for 3 hours on Saturday and I got to do a total closet overall in the playroom and one closet in the baby's room. This felt great, although it was messy! I moved most of Ted and my memorability stuff to the play room closet which is large, and sorted through the baby and kid things. I hung pictures in the baby's room, and made a list of all of the decorating things I want to buy after baby is born. I had my glucose test and all is fine, life is good!

Week 29: July 4-10

Week 29

This week was great! We had a wonderful at the lake with extended family. No much more to say!

Week 30: July 11-17

Week 30

The theme of this week was baby shower, and heat! The baby shower for our friends Christine and Corey was so much fun! Later in the week though, it got terribly hot and uncomfortable, fortunately cold drinks and the pool brought some relief. I was asked this week to pick up a handful of additional clients from now until I go out on maternity leave. My initial response was, "Of course!" but as the heat rose, and I was driving around all day (as I would be with more clients), common sense took over, and I need to say no for the health of my baby and I! I don't want to be sent into early labor, and I know I'm just going to get more uncomfortable. 

Week 31: July 18-24

Week 31

The theme of this week was Va Beach and swollen feet! I feel like such a complainer this time, but to make it all worth while, I'm now telling anyone that wants to hear, I don't recommend getting pregnant between November - February, Third Trimester in the summer is rougher than necessary!

Realizing that I'll be full term in 5 SHORT weeks gives me a kick in the butt to amp up the nesting! I think the time is going to fly with all of the normal summer busyness!
