Today's pic: snowy daffodil

This picture for me is a battle of the elements! First of all, this is one my very first daffodils ever! They were planted in Fall 2011. I was thrilled last spring when shoots emerged but there were no flowers. This year, about 8 of the 25 flowered, which to me is victory! This morning, the morning after the first day of spring mind you, we got a surprise dusting of snow! While I'm as eager as every other amateur gardener for warm days to welcome me to weed, I also feel that if it is going to be cold enough to snow it may as well snow!
