Random lessons from the garden today:
1. You never know when the stump-grinder guy is going to come...you'll just be pleasantly surprised when he shows up on a Sunday, 4 months later.
2. I guess these mums are okay with being relocated. I hope they are not punished for their spring optimism.
3. You may see buds in spots you never expect, like the stem of Sedum.
4. You know you're food obsessed when a pile of fresh mulch looks like shredded chicken, yum!
5. Don't try to grow cilantro because you'll only be heartbroken. Then again, you'll be delighted to find it growing in January!
